Group Concorde in conjunction with Nok Air launched Non – Stop Twice Weekly Guwahati – Bangkok flight service on 22nd September.
It was a historic day for the city of Guwahati and the state of Assam as Shri Sarbananda Sonowal, Hon’ble Chief Minister of Assam and Mr. Pukhraj Singh Chug, Chairman & Managing Director, Group Concorde Flagged off the first International Flight on 22nd September, 2019 from Guwahati to Bangkok operated by Nok Air, a Premium Budget Airline from Thailand.
This flight will operate from Guwahati’s Lokpriya Gopinath Bordoloi International Airport to Bangkok’s Don Mueang International Airport, twice weekly less than 3 hours.
Subsequently a press conference was held in Novotel Hotel, Guwahati by Group Concorde and Nok Air. The conference began with Shri. Kiren Rijiju – Minister of State for Sports and Youth Affairs who inaugurated the flight by lighting the lamp along with Shri. Rajesh Prasad – Principal Secretary Ministry of Tourism, Govt. of Assam, Mr. Pukhraj Singh Chug – CMD of Group Concorde, Mr. Jasraj Singh Chug, CEO, Group Concorde and Mr. Thaveechai – CCO of Nok Air.
Chairman and Managing Director of Group Concorde, Mr. Pukhraj Singh Chug spoke about his personal connect with the North East and his dream to connect North East to the world and work towards the successful completion of starting the flights.
The Conference concluded with an interactive and informative question and answer session where queries of the tour operators and media personnel’s were addressed by answered precisely.
